The 7-days-long Woven Futures program is designed to provide access to innovative and digital technologies available for textile- and fashion designers, artists, and professionals working in the fashion industry. It provides specialized theoretical and practical training with tools that enable participants to create artworks on the intersection of technology, art & design. The program imparts new knowledge and supports the development of innovative practices, creations, and products through design-driven research.
In the Hungarian education systems, technologies lag behind modern programs and tools used in the industry. Woven Futures is Hungary's first complex and hands-on educational program that aims to make innovative technologies and related knowledge available to designers, textile professionals, and artists. The tuition fee is covered for 8 selected participants by the National Cultural Fund of Hungary. We invited internationally recognized artists, makers, and engineers; therefore, the program’s official language is English.
You can apply with a professional resume and/or portfolio until May 29, 2021.

This program is for you if you:
